There are a lot of SEO plugins out there, but the WordPress SEO by Yoast plugin is by far the easiest to use. If used correctly, your WordPress site is already on its’ way up in the rankings. If you are not familiar with SEO, check out this article: SEO Basics for Bloggers
Now, for a look at the plugin settings. This first screen grab is for the basic settings. It may take a little while to get used to doing your own SEO, but it will take less than a couple minutes once you get familiar. There are two tabs that I primarily focus on. The General tab is the most important, but the Social tab allows you to add alternate photos and captions for Facebook and Twitter. Every social site uses different sized photos, so being able to add a different photo for each is very valuable.
